Our Philosophy
Exploitation is an intersectional issue facing communities throughout Washington. Preventing violence requires us to address the root causes of violence and oppression within our communities.

We are committed to providing upstream prevention programming that is effective, accurate, and impactful. Through Trafficking Prevention for Schools, Youth Leadership Board, and workshops, we provide the tools that young people need to help create safer and healthier communities.

Did you know strong family relationships are the #1 preventative factor for preventing trafficking of youth? Our program equips families with the tools that they need to keep their youth safe online, understand youth development, and strengthen kinship bonds.

We establish pathways for justice & accountability among men who have caused harm. The Stopping Sexual Exploitation Program and Men's Accountability Community invite men to repair harm from gender-based violence and build healthier masculinities.

Schools are a primary intervention point to prevent human trafficking. We equip schools with the tools to identify, respond, and engage young people to prevent and interrupt trafficking and grooming.

WTP is here to help you learn how to serve survivors of commercial sexual exploitation holistically. Too often, survivors experience shame, stigma, and denial of services. We are here to help people in serving professions effectively and holistically serve survivors experiencing multiple intersections with oppression.
